National Book Trust (NBT), India (under the Ministry of Education, Government of India) has launched Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya App, the National Digital Library for Children and Adolescent which gives access to thousands of age-appropriate books, including stories, biographies, science fiction, and classics, all free of cost. An Amrit Kaal Story-Writing Competition is being organised through this APP to foster creativity among the youth of India. This competition aims to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their storytelling talents by writing stories that reflect hope, innovation, and transformation for India.

 

Details of the Competition: 1. Eligibility: Students of Classes IX-XII.

2. Last date of Registration: 4th October 2024

3. Submission of Stories: 5th October 2024 – 12th October 2024

4. How to Register: Students can register via the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya App available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

This is to inform you that there will be no formal exams held for Class-III students from this session, instead, we will adopt a continuous assessment model through unit tests. This approach mirrors the assessment structure already in place for Classes I and II. Through regular unit tests, we aim to provide students with sample opportunities to demonstrate their understanding and progress throughout the academic year. By removing the stress associated with traditional exams, we aim to create a more conducive environment for learning and growth and more time for relaxed in-depth understanding. The updated details of the Assessment pattern and revised Unit Test schedule are attached for your reference. Kindly ignore the previous Unit Test schedule and Assessment Pattern printed in the Almanac and Precept.

Under this program, you will have the chance to write and submit short stories in either Hindi or English in the following three categories:
